All In The Name Of Art...

A man stripped naked in the name of art at one of London's most famous landmarks this week, prompting much uproar from the police. The "living sculpture" (who gave his name only as Simon), was ordered to cover up after peeling off on Anthony Gormley's fourth plinth at Trafalgar Sqaure. He had adopted his position on the plinth at 1am, fully clothed and waving, but when left to his own devices, removed his clothing to a crowd of cheers, wolf whistles and laughter.

The "plinther" was then told by one of the organisers: “Simon, you’re going to have to put something on or they want you down... sorry mate. Some pants or something. Thank you.” Simon obliged by putting his underpants back on, to boos from the crowd.
